Rapid Renewal is a Vehicle & Trailer Re-registration Service provided to allow people to re-register thier vehicles online. This site allows you to RENEW a current registration online by paying your local excise tax, state motor vehicle registration fee, and a small fee for this online service. New registrations or registrations that have been expired more than 7 months require visiting your municipal office to pay excise tax. If your municipal office is able to complete the registration process, they will do so. If your municipal office cannot complete the registration process, they will instruct you to visit a Motor Vehicle Branch Office, where your registration will be completed. If you reside in an unorganized territory, the complete registration process can be done at a Motor Vehicle Branch Office in person.
The Rapid Renewal link can be found on our 'Online Services' page.

Welcome to the first-ever website for Brighton Plantation, Maine. We were able to obtain the www.brighton.maine.gov domain from the State of Maine. The .gov domain is a top-level domain that's only available to U.S.-based government organizations. It's important because it helps the public identify official government information and websites, and it increases trust in the government.
The website is an additional resource for the municipality to provide Brighton residents with information on State and municipal services, public nontices and more. If you see an error or would like to see additional resources available, please reach out to us at brighton.maine@gmail.com.
